When household & industrial appliances are working normally, the bimetallic strip is in a free state and the contacts are in a closed/open state. When the temperature reaches the action temperature, the bimetallic strip is heated to generate internal stress and quickly moves, opening/closing the contacts, cutting off/connecting the circuit, thereby playing a role in temperature control. When the appliance cools to the reset temperature, the contacts automatically close/open and resume normal working state.
KSD301 series bimetal thermostat is a kind of miniature hermetically sealed bimetal thermostat. It is of single-pole single-throw structure and works under resistive load. Notes
1. (KSD301 surface mount thermostat) When using contact temperature sensing surface mount for installation, the metal cover should be close to the installation surface of the controlled device to ensure the temperature sensing effect. Thermal conductive silicone grease or other thermal conductive media with similar performance should be applied to the temperature sensing surface.
2. Do not collapse, loosen or deform the top of the cover during installation to avoid affecting performance.
3. Do not allow liquid to penetrate into the thermostat, do not allow cracks to appear on the outer shell, and do not change the shape of the external terminal at will.
4. When the product is used in a circuit with a current of no more than 5A, a cable with a copper core section of 0.5-1㎜2 should be selected for connection; when used in a circuit with a current of no more than 10A, a cable with a copper core section of 0.75-1.5㎜2 should be selected for connection.
5. The product should be stored in a warehouse with a relative humidity of less than 90% and an ambient temperature below 40℃, which is ventilated, clean, dry, and free of corrosive gases.
