DS18B20 sensor wiring harness is a commonly used digital temperature sensor. The output is a digital signal, which has the characteristics of small size, low hardware overhead, strong anti-interference ability, and high accuracy. DS18B20 digital temperature sensor is easy to connect, and it can be applied to many occasions after being packaged, such as pipe type, screw type, magnet type, and stainless steel package type. There are various models, including LTM8877, LTM8874 and so on.
This paper proposes an automatic identification method for multiple digital temperature sensors DS18B20 on a single bus. By designing a circuit composed of a decoder 74LS138, a two-input four-NAND gate 74LS00P, and an analog switch CD4066, the DS18B20 digital temperature sensor software program is written using the Keil C51 tool. Under the control of the microcontroller, the system obtains and saves the serial numbers of all sensors in the form of power-on initialization, automatically identifies the sensors, and performs multi-point temperature measurement. The experimental results show that the system can match the obtained serial numbers with each sensor, so that the sensors can be installed and used, realizing true automatic identification.
