NTC thermistor sensors design is focused on the heater requirements control with 3 Meter PVC Cover Cable and widely used in dry and high temperature environments. UL recognized models available upon request. Their electrical resistance decreases with increasing temperature. This resistance is processed by an electronic circuit to provide temperature measurement. The thermistor itself does not provide any control over heating elements, relays, ecc.

What is a Platinum thermal resistance sensor?

The relationship between resistance and temperature is well known and repeatable over time. RTD is a passive device. It does not produce output by itself. External electronics can be used to measure the sensor resistance by passing a small current through the sensor to produce a voltage. Typically 1 mA or less measurement current, maximum 5 mA, without risk of self-heating.
