17am Temperature control + PTC Motor protection switch

Customize the parameters and cables of the 17AM-D+PTC thermal protector, and also process the wire harness to add a thermal fuse. 17AM-D+PTC thermal protector (Texas Instruments KLIXON) is a current-sensitive, temperature-sensing protection device connected in series with the motor coil. The protector changes depending on the coil temperature and motor current.

17am thermal protector switch

17am thermal protector (KLIXON) working principle: 17am Motor Thermal Protector 17am019-031 60-160 Celsius Degree Normally Closed. The working principle of the TI 17AM thermal protector is based on bimetal technology. When the temperature or current increases, the heat generated is transferred to the bimetal strip.

Bi-metal thermal protector

In the field of electronic equipment and appliances, temperature control is crucial to ensure the proper operation of the equipment and avoid possible damage. Bimetallic thermal protectors and thermal fuses are two common temperature protection devices that play an important role in protecting electronic equipment. Although their goals are similar, there are some key differences in how they work and where they can be used.

Bimetal Disc Limit Thermostats: Types, Working, Applications

What is a Bimetal Disc Limit Thermostats?
Bimetal disc limit thermostats or temperature switches are those switches that change their position from normally open to normally closed (manual / auto reset) when a specific temperature is reached. This switch is helpful in managing and controlling temperatures in manufacturing and other industrial processes.

①: Discuss requirements with customers (control thermal cut-off temperature point, action mode (manual and automatic reset), reset temperature, installation method and size);

The thermal switch (3/4″ Limit Snap Disc Thermostat) is a temperature control switch that uses a bimetallic strip as a temperature sensing element. When the appliance is working normally, the bimetallic strip is in a free state and the contacts are in a closed/open state. When the temperature rises to the action temperature value, the bimetal element is heated to generate internal stress and quickly moves, opening/closing the contacts, cutting off/connecting the circuit, thereby playing a thermal protection role.
