AUPO BF Thermal Cutoff Fuse for 10A-16A Overheat Protection Circuit
Category: thermal fuse
Tags: Motor thermal protection, Temperature Fuse, Thermal cut-off, Thermal Fuse
AUPO BF series is a one-time action organic thermal fuse that can prevent electrical appliances from catching fire due to overheating. The metal shell uses organic thermal sensitive materials inside and can work in high current circuits.
Organic BF series thermal fuse: When the temperature around the fuse rises to its action temperature, the temperature sensing block melts, and the spring A is released to push the star-shaped reed away, so that it is out of contact with the A pin, thereby disconnecting the current path and permanently cutting off the line.
AUPO BF thermal cut-off product advantages:
1. Independently developed organic formula technology to ensure stable product action and high precision.
2. A complete quality management system to ensure high consistency and high reliability of the product.
3. The metal shell design has extremely high sensitivity to temperature rise.
4. Suitable for overtemperature protection in 10A-16A circuits.
AUPO BF thermal cut-off working principle:
When the temperature around the fuse rises to its action temperature, the temperature sensing block melts, and the spring A is released to push the star-shaped reed away, so that it is out of contact with the A pin, thereby disconnecting the current path and permanently cutting off the line.
Application areas:
BF series are widely used in household appliances, such as small household appliances, refrigerators and washing machines, kitchen and bathroom appliances, etc.; automobile “three electrics”; overheating protection of office equipment, etc.
AUPO BF thermal cut-off certification:
BF series products meet the safety test requirements of IEC 60691 Ed4.0 and GB/T 9816.2013. Many models have obtained UL, VDE, CCC, PSE, KC and other safety certifications.

The thermal fuse is a thermal protector. Thermal fuses are mainly composed of melts and tubes, plus external fillers. When using, connect the thermal fuse in series with the protected circuit. When the current of the protected circuit exceeds the specified value, and after a certain period of time, the melt generated by the melt itself fuses the melt, breaking the circuit, thereby protecting the circuit. Electrical appliances that use a metal conductor as a melt to break a circuit are connected in series in the circuit.
Tamura/NEC SF metal casing 15A Temperature fuse
The working principle of the AUPO / Tamura / NEC SF thermal fuse is based on the thermal expansion and conductive properties of the material. When the temperature in the circuit rises to the rated trigger temperature of the fuse, the metal material of the fuse will expand due to heat. When this expansion reaches a certain degree, it will cause the resistance inside the fuse to rise sharply.
thermal fuse and circuit breaker cutoff temperature
They are the same in that they can achieve short circuit protection. The principle of a thermal fuse is to use a current flowing through a conductor to cause the conductor to heat up. When the melting point of the conductor is reached, the conductor is melted so that the circuit-protected electrical appliances and lines are not burned.
