Arbetsprincipen för TI 17AM värmeskydd är baserad på bimetallteknologi. När temperaturen eller strömmen ökar, värmen som genereras överförs till bimetallremsan. When the temperature reaches the rated operating temperature, the bimetallic piece acts quickly to disconnect the contacts and cut off the power supply, thus playing a protective role. When the temperature drops to the rated reset temperature of the product, the bimetal quickly returns to its initial state, closing the contacts and turning on the power, and the cycle continues. This kind of thermal protector has the characteristics of large contact capacity, sensitive action, and long life.
The 17AM series thermal protector is produced by the proprietary technology of Texas Instruments in the United States and can accurately control the temperature overheating of electrical appliances. They have the characteristics of small size, large contact capacity and fast tripping action. When the electrical appliance is not working properly and the surrounding temperature is too high, the bimetallic reed of the protector breaks the contacts to protect the electrical appliance. When the thermal protector cools down to a safe temperature, the contacts automatically close and reset.
The 17AM overheat protector (17AMH/17AMH+PTC) is equipped with a PTC heating element based on the 17AMH thermal protector. When the heat reaches the disconnection temperature value of the protector, the bimetal strip quickly jumps out, causing the two contacts to disconnect and cutting off the circuit. Samtidigt, since the voltage on the open contact is applied to the PTC heating element, enough heat is generated to keep the bimetal in the tripped state. The contacts can only close when the power supply is turned off.
The working principle of the 17AM thermal protector is that current passes through the KLIXON bimetal reed and two contacts. When the electrical appliance is not working properly and the surrounding temperature or current is too high, when the heat reaches the trip temperature value of the protector, the bimetal reed will act quickly, thus cutting off the circuit. When the temperature drops to the reset temperature, the KLIXON bimetal reed quickly closes again.
