Thermal fuse is also called Thermal cut link, 係一種溫度傳感電路切斷裝置.
熱熔斷器可以感應到電子電氣產品運行異常產生嘅過熱, 從而切斷電路以避免火災. 常用於: 風筒, 電熨斗, 電飯煲, 電爐, 變形金剛, 電機, 飲水機, 咖啡壺, 等. 熱熔斷器運行後不能再次使用, 並且僅在熔化溫度下運行一次.

There are many ways to construct thermal fuses. The following are three more common ones:

The first type:
It is composed of a movable contact (滑動觸點), 彈簧 (spring), and a fusible (electrically nonconductive thermalpellet). 熱熔斷器激活之前, 電流由左側引綫流向可移動觸點 (滑動觸點), 並流向右引線，穿過金屬外殼. 当外部溫度達到預定溫度時, the fusible melts and the compression spring becomes loose. 噉係, the spring expands and the movable contact (slidingcontact) separates from the left lead. The circuit is opened and the current between the moving contact (滑動觸點) and the left lead is cut off.
